About the DataLock Settings Panel

The DataLock Hard Drive Encryption | Settings panel in shows the progress and completion of encryption after you install DataLock.

Encryption takes place in the background and does not affect your system experience. While individual files and your desktop are invisibly decrypted on access and encrypted when you close them, the Encryption Status bar maintains a 100% status to indicate you have full encryption protection.
