  • Windows XP users with old video display adapters (older than 2008) may experience high memory consumption, due to a Microsoft dot.net 3.5 defect.

To work around this issue, you can do the following steps:

    1. Choose Run from the Windows Start menu.
    2. In the Run dialog, enter dxdiag.
    3. In the DirectX window that appears, click the Display tab, and then disable Direct draw acceleration.
  • If you are running an older Vista installations, SocialGuard may not install properly until you upgrade your Microsoft .NET (an operating system component). Get your free upgrade of .NET from Microsoft at http://windows.microsoft.com/en-US/windows/downloads/windows-vista.
