What does the Severity setting do?

The Severity setting helps you visually scan the Warnings panel for the types of warnings you are most concerned about. The more orange bars, the more concerned you are about these types of warnings.

Severity ratings are in place when you install--ZoneAlarm SocialGuard guesses at how big of a concern each type of threat is, but you can customize your Severity rating for each offense on the Account Settings panel.

Note: Severity is related to your concern about a type of offense, not to the severity of a specific detected incident.
