The ZoneAlarm button in the MS Windows system notification area provides shortcuts to a number of functions. To get to them, right-click the icon to open the pop-up menu and select a menu option:
Show Monitor

Opens the ZoneAlarm Free Antivirus + Firewall security software client interface.

Scan Now
|
Runs a quick Antivirus & Anti-spyware system scan.
|

Runs the Antivirus & Anti-spyware definition updates and the product update.
|
Game Mode
|
Opens the Game Mode dialog window.
|
|
|
Click it to suspend all Internet activity. Click to activate it again.
|
|
|
Turns the firewall off for 5 minutes. Click to turn the firewall back on before the 5-minute snooze interval is over.
|
|
|
Turns the Antivirus off for 5 minutes. Click to turn it back on before the 5-minute snooze interval is over.
NOTE: If you shut the client down before the snooze interval is over, the On-Access Scanning will be enabled on the next client startup.
