Controlling OSFirewall Settings

To enable or disable OSFirewall:

1. In the FIREWALL tab, click Settings for the Application Control category.

   The Application Control panel shows the Current Settings and the History.

2. Click Advanced Settings.

   The Application Control Settings window opens and shows the Advanced Control configuration panel.

3. Click OSFirewall in the navigation tree.

   The OSFirewall Settings configuration panel shows. By default, OSFirewall is enabled.

4. To disable OSFirewall, clear the Enable OSFirewall checkbox. To enable OSFirewall, select the checkbox.
5. Click OK.

To customize the OSFirewall settings:

1. Make sure OSFirewall is enabled.
2. Right-click on the OSFirewall rule you want to change and select one of the options - Allow, Deny, Ask, or Use Program Settings.

   By default all the OSFirewall rules are set to Use Program Setting, which lets the ZoneAlarm Free Antivirus + Firewall security software Application Control module make the decision to allow or to deny each action.

3. Click OK.
