Specifying your outbound e-mail server
To send challenge e‑mails, the junk e‑mail filter requires the ability to send e‑mail. In most cases the junk e‑mail filter uses Outlook’s default outbound mail server. If you experience problems sending challenge e‑mails, you may need to specify the name of your outbound e‑mail server.
To specify the name of an outbound e‑mail server:
- Start your Outlook or Outlook Express e‑mail program.
- In the junk e‑mail filter toolbar, click ZoneAlarm Options|Configure Preferences |Challenges.
- In the Challenge Content area, click E‑mail Server.
- Type the name of your outbound e‑mail server, then click OK.
- Click Close.
